Using the rich data contained in the Digital Persona, Unity One Commerce allows the operators to deliver relevant commercial offerings direct to their customers through the high-visibility, always on Unity applications suite. Opportunities where there is a direct link between the Digital Persona and a commerce opportunity can be exploited within Unity One e.g., sales of music-related products such as ringtones and music tracks; sales of applications related to events, activities and likes and sales of mobile products related to loyalty behaviour.
The Unity One Platform provides an active commerce subsystem that integrates fully with the Unity One Digital Persona, Unity One Applications, consumer segments, products and product segments. The commerce subsystem can actively recommend and expose offers to consumers based on their consumer segmentation and product/product segment weightings through multiple Unity Application channels. Offers may be defined based on products with fulfilment managed off-platform by appropriate operator and/or affiliate systems. The commerce subsystem may also be integrated fully with external operator or affiliate commerce solutions.
